Your supplier sends the product data. OhoSync keeps your store updated. Here is the whole thing, start to finish.

You need your webshop login and the file your supplier sends you.

Connect your WooCommerce store
You create a key inside your own WooCommerce shop and paste it into OhoSync. That is the whole connection, and you can remove it from your shop whenever you want without asking us.

Add the file your supplier sends you
Upload the spreadsheet, or paste the link if your supplier publishes one. You then tell OhoSync which of their columns holds the product code, the price, the stock and the image. You do this once.

Choose products and set your prices
Most supplier files contain far more than you want to sell. Pick the products you want, then set the markup you want on top of the supplier cost. Different margins for cheap and expensive items are fine.

Check the first update, then let it run
Before anything reaches your shop, OhoSync shows you what it would do. When that looks right, turn on automatic updates and it keeps going on its own.

Every update can be run as a preview first. You get the full list of what would change, and your shop stays exactly as it is until you say so.
You can also update just the first ten or fifty products, to see the result on a few before doing the whole catalogue.

What happens on every update.

Your supplier's file is read
OhoSync downloads or opens the newest version of the file and reads the products out of it.

The file is checked for problems
If the file is empty, unreadable, or missing a large part of its products, the update stops before anything is written.

Products are matched to yours
Each row is matched to a product in your shop by its product code, so the right item gets the right update.

Your prices are worked out
Your markup rules are applied to the supplier's cost, and the result is checked for anything that looks wrong before it is used.

Your locked fields are taken out
Anything you locked is removed from the update, so your own wording and images survive untouched.

The result is saved
Every change is stored with what it was, what it became, and why, so you can look back at any update later.

How is my store connected?
Through the WooCommerce REST API, with a key pair you generate inside your own shop and can revoke there at any time. The key is stored encrypted. Your WooCommerce admin password is never involved.
How is a supplier file read?
Each format has its own reader. CSV and Excel are generic and configured to your columns. XML is read by a reader written for that supplier's structure. Whatever the source, every product ends up as the same standard set of fields, so pricing, selection and locks behave identically.
What exactly stops a bad update?
Two independent checks. A file that has lost more than 30 percent of its products since the last good update stops the whole run. A single price that moves further than your threshold, or falls below your minimum, is blocked on that product only, so one bad row cannot take the rest of the update with it.
What if an update fails halfway?
It can be resumed. OhoSync records the last product it processed and continues from there rather than starting your catalogue again.
